New From Precision: ProGrind Horizontal Grinder/Chipper
Precision Husky Corp., an international 60-year-old manufacturing company known around the world for producing the highest quality wood waste processing equipment, has expanded its product offerings to include the ProGrind line. The ProGrind line consists of tub style grinders and horizontal style grinders. What sets the ProGrind horizontal grinder is the machine’s flexibility—easily processing brush, land clearing materials, mulch production, pallets, and other demolition wood waste as a traditional grinder, while also having the ability to convert to a chipper for use in fuel production, composting operations, mulch production, or to produce microchips for pellet mills, consistently producing an end product as small as a 3/8 in.
The ProGrind series of horizontal grinders come in three different model variations, the H4060, with power ranging from 875 HP to 1200 HP; the H3060, with power ranging from 600 HP to 800 HP, and the H3045, the smallest in the line-up with power ranging from 400 HP to 520 HP. All three models are available with the standard hammermill or chipper drum configuration in both 4-knife drum and 2-knife drum configurations. Having a standard hammermill and swapping to a drum style mill and back to the standard hammermill can enhance the opportunities for multiple end products to serve customers.
Having one machine that will serve two different capacities just makes sense.
