Road Runner Repair Celebrates 10 Years With Ponsse
Road Runner Repair began in 2011 when Aaron Vizer, after 13 years as a field service technician, started his own business. What began with a single service truck quickly grew into a full operation. Recognizing the need for a dedicated workspace, Vizer built a two‑bay shop at his home in Boyd, Wis. His commitment to customer service, deep technical knowledge, and strong business instincts helped Road Runner Repair earn the trust of loggers across the region.
In 2016, Road Runner Repair began its cooperation with Ponsse as a service dealer—an important move that strengthened support for Ponsse customers throughout Wisconsin and beyond.
“For Ponsse, reliable service solutions and strong local partners are a vital part of supporting our customers’ everyday operations,” says Jerry Koski, Manager for Service Dealers, Service Agreements & ESW, Ponsse USA. “Forest machines work in demanding conditions, and keeping them productive requires expertise, availability and trust built over time. Long-term cooperation with skilled service partners enables us to provide fast, professional support close to the customer, helping to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations throughout the machine’s lifecycle.”
As business continued to grow, Vizer partnered with Jason Klukas in 2020. Klukas brought a strong leadership background from his service in the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a heavy diesel mechanic for 10 years. The partnership paved the way for a major expansion. In 2021, Road Runner Repair opened a state‑of‑the‑art facility in Cadott, Wis., featuring six service bays, a spacious, modern showroom, geothermal heating and cooling, plus extensive parts storage.
“2026 is a milestone year for Road Runner Repair, marking 15 years in business, five years in our Cadott facility, and ten years of cooperation with Ponsse,” says Vizer. “Our long-standing partnership with Ponsse has been an important part of our journey and our ability to support customers with reliable, professional service. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
